Maintenance schedule

Troy-Bilt 31AS62N2711, 31AS62N2766

At least once a season or every 25 hours of operation
- Lubricate gear (hex) shaft (keep oil off the aluminum drive plate and rubber friction wheel)
At least once a season
- Remove both wheels, clean and coat the axles with multipurpose automotive grease
- Remove shear pins from the auger shaft, spray lubricant inside the shaft and around the spacers and flange bearings
Once a season
- Lubricate the standard chute directional control eye-bolt bushing and spiral with 3-in-1 oil
Periodically
- Check shave plate and skid shoes for wear, replace when necessary
