Maintenance schedule

At least once a season or every 25 hours of operation
- Lubricate the gear (hex) shaft with a light coating of engine oil or 3-in-1 oil (keep oil off the aluminum drive plate and rubber friction wheel)
At least once a season
- Lubricate wheel axles (remove wheels, clean, coat axles with multipurpose automotive grease)
Periodically
- Check shave plate and skid shoes for wear, replace when necessary
