| Lubricate gear (hex) shaft with a light coating of Bostik Never-Seez (keep lubricant off drive plate and rubber friction wheel) | At least once a season or every 25 hours of operation |

| Lubricate wheel axles (remove wheels, clean, coat axles with multipurpose automotive grease) | At least once a season |
| Lubricate chute directional control eye-bolt bushing and spiral with 3-in-1 oil (if equipped) | Once a season |
| Remove shear pins and cotter pins, spray lubricant inside auger shaft and around spacers and flange bearings | At least once a season |
