Cub Cadet service schedule, operator's manual 769-10807
- At least once a season or every 25 hours of operation
- Lubricate gear (hex) shaft with a light coating of Bostik Never-Seez (keep lubricant off drive plate and rubber friction wheel)
- At least once a season
- Lubricate wheel axles (remove wheels, clean, coat axles with multipurpose automotive grease)
- Remove shear pins and cotter pins, spray lubricant inside auger shaft and around spacers and flange bearings
- Once a season
- Lubricate chute directional control eye-bolt bushing and spiral with 3-in-1 oil (if equipped)
- Periodically
- Check shave plate and skid shoes for wear, replace when necessary
