• At least once a season
  • Lubricate wheel axles (remove wheels, clean, coat axles with multipurpose automotive grease)
  • Remove shear pins, spray lubricant inside auger shaft and around spacers and flange bearings
• At least once a season or every 25 hours of operation
  • Lubricate the gear (hex) shaft with a light coating of engine oil or 3-in-1 oil (keep oil off the aluminum drive plate and rubber friction wheel)
• Periodically
  • Check shave plate and skid shoes for wear, replace when necessary

  • Engine maintenance
